BMH Wood Technology
BMH Wood Technology originates from Lönnström Oy, founded in
Rauma, Finland, in 1929. At first the company manufactured a variety
of metal products. The first conveyor was made in 1947. Since
the 1950' the company has concentrated entirely on materials handling
systems. In 1992 the company was incorporated into the Babcock
Materials Handling Division. After that the Swedish company Exfor
AB, specialized in woodyard equipment, was also incorporated to
the Division. In 1994 the names of these companies were changed
to BMH Wood Technology.
BMH Wood Technology has been providing the Pulp & Paper industry
with complete woodyards and related systems for decades. BMH Wood
Technology offers global competence from contracting turn-key
plants to the supply of advanced systems and world-proven products.
BMH Wood Technology is also one of the leading suppliers of bio
solid fuel and ash handling systems for power plants. From engineering
to installation, BMH Wood Technology can offer comprehensive biomass
handling from fuel receiving and waste utilization to ash handling.
Recently BMH Wood Technology has expanded its energy sector activities
over to recycling field by introducing a completely new series
of heavy-duty crushers. The environmental functions have been
centralized under a new business unit named BMH Enviro.
BMH Enviro supplies complete lines for processing different kinds
of waste, such as demolition waste, household waste, industrial
waste and similar combustible materials, into high-quality fuel.The
newly developed series of heavy duty crushers TYRANNOSAURUS 9900
meets the specific needs of waste treatment and recycling.
BMH Enviro products include sorting and separating equipment,
such as receiving equipment, waste grinders, magnets, Eddy Current
separators, wind classifiers and various screening technologies.
